You probably have to go a long way to find someone who can take advantage of an opportunity much better than Liniger. Here’s the part I love.
Asked why he bought the vehicle, Liniger said he is a Vietnam veteran who started Re/Max with his wife, Gail, in 1973. The real estate company has grown to 65 countries, he said.
Oh!

As I commented on another blog – this perpetuates the thought that all Real Estate agents are filthy rich. Great. 🙂

Not sure… I think it shows RE/MAX making a positive donation and I think they will get great value from the purchase. I would agree if it was just an agent making the purchase.. but Dave Liniger is the co-founder of the largest real estate company.

It’s great that there’s at least some good coming out of all this. And I can’t blame
the donors to want some publicity for their acts of generosity. But I have more respect for
those who donate without any expectation of reward.
