Shaw and Hotmail are both having problems with the email systems. They have been blocked by a spam service called Sorbs. Below is the email that we received from Shaw:

attempted contact with Sorbs’ administrators in order for them to remove
Shaw from the blacklist. Once Sorbs removes us from the list, you should be
able to send to your contacts again. Thank you for your patience.If you have a backup email address such as Gmail, Hotmail, yahoo, etc
please use this email address to communicate with your contact for now until
the problem is resolved.Sincerely,
